Applications Of Pulse Laser Cleaning

Feb 20,2026

Pulsed laser cleaning technology selectively removes process deposits such as carbon black, silicone, rubber, vulcanization residues, or grease from molds and tools without causing abrasion.

This treatment often provides necessary surface preparation for subsequent production steps (such as painting or welding). Non-contact pulsed laser cleaning avoids any mechanical, chemical, or excessive thermal load on the substrate during processing.

Laser cleaning is suitable for injection molds and castings: Adhering materials remaining on workpieces, injection molds, and castings can be easily removed with lasers. This technology removes residues and build-up layers through vaporization, providing a completely environmentally friendly alternative to traditional cleaning methods.

Main applications include: component assembly, weld surface pretreatment, metal surface coating stripping (overall or partial), and cleaning of various industrial products and molds.

Laser removal of rust, oil, and grease: High-power short-pulse laser technology effectively removes oil and grease through selective layering and peeling without damaging or melting the original component surface. This technology enables non-abrasive removal of oil stains, grease, and rust.
